OnlyFans Prepaid Cards (Ways to Use Them)

can you use prepaid cards on onlyfans

I know. It’s tricky paying for OnlyFans with your credit card. You don’t want it to appear on your credit card statement. The most obvious reason is that you don’t want your partner to see it.

I can think of only a few conversations more embarrassing than trying to explain why I’m paying for OnlyFans and who I’m following/supporting.

Granted, there are non-pr0n accounts on there, but still. So, let’s answer the question – Can you use prepaid cards with OnlyFans?

OnlyFans doesn’t support most prepaid cards but also gift cards or even PayPal. The only prepaid cards OnlyFans does accept are some prepaid Visa Cards. Other than that, your only options are Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, other debit cards, and Discover.

What Cards Does OnlyFans Accept?

You’d think that a company like OnlyFans would make their subscribers’ lives easier by offering at least some anonymous payment options such as crypto or at least Bitcoin. Prepaid cards and store-bought gift cards also come to mind.

The other side to this is that this is the easiest way of ensuring your subscribers are over 18 years old.

It’s probably for that reason that OnlyFans has opted out of these secure and anonymous payment alternatives and decided to only accept run-of-the-mill cards that include Visa and Mastercard, Discover, Maestro, and other types of debit cards.

Their website states that some prepaid Visa cards are accepted without saying which ones in particular. Presumably, only the ones that you have to make a verified account with that include your personal details like address and SSN.

How Does an OnlyFans Transaction Appear on Credit Card Statements?

Every transaction you make will appear on your credit card statement. These days, you can opt for digital statements that won’t appear on your doorstep. Not only is that more private as no one apart from you can see it, unless they have access to your email account.

According to OnlyFans, the credit card statement will display:

  • “OnlyFans”
  • “”
  • A variation of the name

The statement will always say at least “OnlyFans” or “OF.” The last one, if you’re lucky as it’s really non-descript and could be anything.

How to Hide OnlyFans Transactions?

There’s actually no way of hiding OnlyFans transactions from your credit card statements. You may opt for digital-only statements that arrive in your email or can only be seen in the banking app, depending on your bank.

Add Money to Your OnlyFans Wallet

If you’re worried about anyone finding out you’re paying for OnlyFans, you should simply make a one-time payment into your OF wallet.

This means you won’t have to make weekly or monthly transactions as you would pay a bigger sum upfront. The downside is, that this lump sum could attract eyes as it is bigger.

The wallet balance will be used for any payments on OnlyFans as long as there’s enough money. It will be used for subscription auto-renews as well.

Who Can Sign up for OnlyFans

Signing up for OnlyFans is generally easy and you have to use your email address, create a password or username, or authenticate with your Google or Twitter account.

You also have to be older than 18 or whatever the legal age in your country/state is and not be a convicted sex offender. I’m not sure whether or not they’re checking the last requirement, but I sure hope they do their due diligence.

How to Cancel OnlyFans Subscriptions

canceling subscription

OnlyFans has some nifty features like getting access to exclusive content and being able to chat to creators via DMs. However, these features come at a cost. You have to subscribe to that content creator.

However, there may come a time when you’ll want to cancel a subscription. Luckily, you can do that anytime. You won’t get money back for the time that’s left remaining but you will be able to follow the creator again during that period.

Make sure to turn off auto-renew subscriptions so you don’t get charged in the next billing cycle. When you unsubscribe you basically hide the posts from that creator so they don’t appear in your feed. You are still subscribed to them until the end of the subscription period.

See all your active and inactive subscriptions on the “Following” page.

Difference Between a Free And a Paid OnlyFans Account

There are two types of OnlyFans accounts – a free account and a paid account. The main difference between the two accounts is that in order to access a paid account you will have to pay a monthly fee to the creator ranging from $4.99 to $50.

If you don’t pay this fee, you can’t access the creator’s account. However, many OF creators have both accounts. They get a steady income from the paid one and they can attract more followers and more quickly with the free account.

However, there are many ways that creators earn money even with a free account. There are paid posts that no one can access without paying for them. There are also paid livestreams, lucrative tips, and even paid direct messages.

How to Delete Your OnlyFans Account

deleting account

If, for some reason, you don’t want to have an OF account anymore and wish to delete it, you’ll be happy to know that it’s easy to do. All you have to do is go to Settings and select “Delete Account.”

You’ll get a confirmation email and won’t be able to restore it in the future. For that reason, you’ll have to make a new account if you want to reaccess OnlyFans.

Creators with active subscriptions will have their account deleted only after the last subscription has expired. Any active subscriptions will never be automatically renewed as well.

OnlyFans only accepts some Visa prepaid cards. Any other prepaid cards aren’t supported at this time.
