How to Pay for OnlyFans Discreetly in 2023 (Keep it Private)

Written By Adrian Volenik

Paying for OnlyFans with your credit card isn’t something that everyone wants to do. Obviously, you don’t want it to appear on your credit card statement. You also don’t want your partner or family to find out.

I can think of only a few conversations more embarrassing than trying to explain why I’m paying for OnlyFans and who I’m following/supporting.

Granted, there are non-pr0n accounts on OF, but still. So, let’s answer the question – How to pay for OnlyFans Discreetly?

Your best bet for paying OnlyFans discreetly is to pay with a registered/verified prepaid Visa card. Additionally, no other discreet forms of payment are accepted. Unfortunately, your only alternatives are credit and debit cards.

What Forms of Payment Does OnlyFans Accept?

You’d think that a company like OnlyFans would make their subscribers’ lives easier by offering other forms of payments besides credit and debit cards.

Store-bought gift cards, PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, and bitcoin are all more than valid payment options at this point.

The other side to this is that this is the easiest way of ensuring your subscribers are over 18 years old.

It’s probably for that reason that OnlyFans has opted out of other secure and anonymous payment alternatives and decided to only accept run-of-the-mill cards that include Visa and Mastercard, Discover, Maestro, and other types of debit cards.

Their website states that “some” prepaid Visa cards are accepted without saying which ones in particular. Presumably, only the ones that you have to make a verified account with that include your personal details like address and SSN.

Paying for OnlyFans With a Visa Prepaid Card

prepaid cards

Prepaid Visa cards are popular around the world as they offer convenience, let you control your spending, and allow you to pay your bills and subscriptions online.

Many people use them instead of bank accounts as they often come without any fees attached. On the other side, this is where you have to be careful, as some Visa prepaid cards come with hefty fees.

To get a Visa prepaid card, simply go to a retail store that sells them or visit the Visa website, where you’ll find dozens of cards on offer from all brands.

Once you get a card, activate it online or by phone and load it easily online or in person.

Yes, you can use it to pay an OnlyFans subscription or to fund the OF wallet. However, you can use it for other things as well. Basically, most things that you can do with a debit card, you can do with a prepaid card.

How Does an OnlyFans Transaction Appear on Credit Card Statements?

Obviously, every transaction you make with your credit or debit card will appear on your card’s statement. Of course, to minimize the risk of getting caught,  you can opt for digital statements that won’t appear on your doorstep but in your email inbox.

If you decide to use your credit or debit card to pay for OnlyFans, this is the more discreet way of doing it, as presumably, no one apart from you can see the statement.

According to OnlyFans, the credit card statement displays the following:

  • “OnlyFans”
  • “OnlyFans.com”
  • “OF”
  • Another variation of the name

The statement will always say at least “OnlyFans” or “OF.” The latter is evidently the best as it’s really non-descript and could mean anything.

Alternative to Hiding OnlyFans Transactions

Because there’s no real way of hiding your transactions, you can also simply make a one-time payment into your OnlyFans wallet.

This means that you don’t have to make weekly or monthly payments as you pay a bigger sum upfront. The downside of this, of course, is that this lump sum could attract eyes as it is more prominent.

Your wallet’s balance will be used for any payments on OnlyFans as long as there’s enough money. It will also be used for subscription auto-renews.

Do You Even Need to Pay For OnlyFans?

You probably know by now that there are two types of OnlyFans accounts – free and paid accounts. The main difference between the two accounts is that the paid accounts charge a monthly fee by the creator ranging from $4.99 to $50.

If you don’t pay this fee, you can’t access the creator’s account. However, many OF creators have both accounts. They get a steady income from the paid one, and they can attract more followers more quickly with the free account.

However, there are many ways that creators earn money, even with a free account. There are paid posts that no one can access without paying for them. There are also paid live streams, lucrative tips, and even paid direct messages.

Therefore, you don’t really have to pay for OnlyFans. You can use the free account to access it. On the other side, if your favorite creator doesn’t offer a free account, you’ll have to pay to see their content.

Likewise, you won’t get access to some neat features that include access to exclusive content and being able to chat with creators via DMs.

Who Can Sign up for OnlyFans

As is the case with most subscriptions, signing up is the easy part. OnlyFans is no different, and all you have to do is enter your email address, password, and username or simply sign up with your Google or Twitter account.

To register for OnlyFans, you do, of course, have to be 18 or older (or what the legal age in your country/state is). You also shouldn’t be a convicted sex offender.

Whether or not they’re really checking that last requirement is not clear, but I really hope that they do.

How to Cancel OnlyFans Subscriptions

If you’re already an OnlyFans subscriber, there may come a time when you’ll want to cancel a subscription. Don’t worry, you can do it anytime.

Your subscription will last until the end of the current subscription period, so you will be able to follow the creator during that time.

Additionally, make sure to turn off auto-renew for your subscriptions so you don’t get charged in the next billing cycle.

And lastly, when you unsubscribe and the period lapses, all the posts from the paid creator will get hidden, and they won’t appear in your feed anymore.

To view all your active and inactive subscriptions, visit the “Following” page.

How to Delete Your OnlyFans Account

If you want to take it a step further and delete your OnlyFans account, you’ll be happy to know that it’s likewise very easy to do. Simply go to Settings and select “Delete Account.”

You’ll then get a confirmation email. You also need to know that you won’t be able to restore your account in the future. For that reason, you’ll have to make a new account if you want to reaccess OnlyFans.

Creators with active subscriptions that decide to delete their account will have their account deleted only after the last subscription has lapsed. Additionally, all active subscriptions will never be automatically renewed as well.
